Future Workshop 4.0 in Esslingen

The Future Workshop 4.0 is designed as an innovation laboratory and training center for the automotive industry in Baden-Württemberg - and aubex is there as an innovation partner!

The Future Workshop 4.0 was officially opened in Esslingen on November 15, 2021. The opening was attended by 170 representatives from the partner network alone. Since then, visitors have been able to view future-oriented solutions for the car dealership of tomorrow on more than 450 square meters. The Future Workshop 4.0 extends to showroom and seminar areas as well as two operational workshop workstations.

As an innovation partner, aubex is represented on site by the "digital service employee" Tjekvik.

Future Workshop 4.0 - The place for change in the automotive industry 

The technological change within the entire automotive industry brings with it a high pressure to change. Driven by an increasingly multifaceted and differentiated range of mobility, the demands on car dealerships are changing. Two such trends are, for example, new technologies in product presentation and digital communication media in customer interaction. People no longer just want to receive product, they want to go through an experience that is tailored to themselves.

Da einzelne Akteure der Kfz-Branche meist nicht die Ressourcen für eigene Innovationen und Probedurchläufe haben, stellt die Zukunftswerkstatt Lösungen für solche Trends vor. Wie Wirtschaftsministerin Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut sagte, ist die Zukunftswerkstatt 4.0 „eine zentrale und praxisorientierte Anlaufstelle rund um die Themen Elektromobilität und Digitalisierung“. Dabei bietet die Zukunftswerkstatt 4.0 praxisfokussierte Lösungen zur Umsetzung des Autohausgeschäftes der Zukunft. Im Mittelpunkt steht der proaktive Zukunftstransfer von Unternehmen des Kfz-Gewerbes.

Workshops, car dealerships and industry service providers are to be supported in the transformation process with the solutions presented. Every visitor from the industry will be welcomed with open arms: Whether trainees, automotive mechatronics technicians, workshop managers or managing directors - all are to receive impulses for the design of their own activities. All visitors will be encouraged to try out and compare the solutions presented in a practical way.

Meet digital service employee Tjekvik in the Future Workshop 4.0 

With our Digital Service Employee, we want to relieve car dealerships of some of the high pressure to change as technology shifts. The innovative customer adoption enabled with Tjekvik is exactly the kind of experience customers want to experience. 

Especially for uncomplicated services at the dealership, such as picking up and dropping off vehicle keys, customers want fast and simple offers. By using our digital service employee, customers can take advantage of such a service at peak times even without an appointment. This relieves the workload on the dealership team and frees up capacity that can be used for customers requiring more advice. 

Our digital service employee Tjekvik ensures customer satisfaction in the dealership of the future through an innovative customer experience - and is therefore also represented as a solution in the Future Workshop 4.0. 

But the transformation process does not stop at customer service. On January 20, 2022, we will exclusively address further challenges and solution approaches together with our invited experts and the visitors of the Future Workshop 4.0 in the form of a webinar.
